 Media is everywhere and in almost everything we encounter on a daily basis.  For the first Mass Media blog, please visit the website that was assigned to you.   Review it and write a paragraph telling us more about how the website/company/conglomerate/entity relates to media. Within your review/paragraph, be sure to list at least 5 facts about that Media entity. Your post is due by 5 PM on Thursday.

  1. News Corp relates to media by providing news. As well they have information on sports. Also they give advertisements that deals with media. Some facts about News Corp is they give news for America, Australia, and Uk. Lastly they have Amplify and New York Post in their network.

  3. I did mine on abc. It tells what time shows starts and what days they come on. You can watch full episodes and clips. It has music and what is trending on tv now. The last thing it has is what's going to start coming on later and new shows.

  4. The website NBC is a news site that posts up to date news and the shows that will be playing on NBC every night. Talk about the movies and shows that we're on the night before, show clips and reviews of what people thought. They post videos on there page about edvrythimh from news, movies, tv shows and songs most of them are clips but there are some full videos. They also talk about sports and show sports clips that were the most important highlights of the games. NBC also talks about the compition shows that are on like America's got talent and Hollywood game night. I like how they post a schedule on what will be playing for the week and the times they will each play

  5. Viacom is an American Mass Media company that started off as a spin off from CBS. Its main focus is cinema and television, and is the fourth largest media conglomerate. They started out by acquiring the MTV networks, and later merged with paramount. They are partners with Warner, and control Nick and Comedy Central. Viacom basically controls the cable television world. Reaching 700 million subscribers and controlling 170 networks, Viacom is a mass media giant.

  6. Sony is a big company in the media industry. They are the leading manufacturer of audio, video, communications and information technology. On their website they have a link bar to all the social media sites such as twitter, Facebook, Google+. Etc. so people can post about their website. They also have a link to all of the top featured artist of today and you are able to access their home page from the Sony website. Along with this they have their music labels on their website. There is a lot of advertising for their mot recent game system they are relaxing, the play station 4.

Warner Bros Entertainment is the leader of the entertainment industry. Businesses include feature film, t.v., and home entertainment production. Other things include distribution to home video, digital, comic books, animation, and international cinemas. For example, We’re The Millers is a movie that Warner Bros owns. Time Inc. includes magazines like TIME, PEOPLE, SPORTS ILLUSTRATED, and many more. Time Warner Inc. is a global powerhouse in entertainment and media, with countless businesses in every division they use multiple distribution outlets to package and deliver high-quality content worldwide.
